That’s our mandate at the Black Dog where our seasonal menus feature as many local foods as we are able to source including cheese, meat, fish and produce.
Everything on our menu is made in our kitchen, including our Irish soda bread, fantastic soups, vinaigrettes, sauces, renowned burgers, full-flavoured curries, daily specials and creative desserts.

Included in the special menu are; Black Dog Shrimp Cocktail, four jumbo shrimp in our horse–made beer batter served with mango curry sauce, Spice rubbed and barbecued pork ribs with our creamy coleslaw and rustic potato salad.
For dessert; Ontario strawberry shortcake with real whipped cream.
